The horse represents the furious nature of maratha cavalry and also the moblity of the vehicle , the Sun in the middle represents the rise of pride, self-respect and national integrity of india during the expansion of maratha empire, the Raigad fort vector silhoutte represents the rigidity, toughness and strength of Maratha forts which defended the Swarajya of Great chhatrapati shivaji maharaj ( KING OF SWARAJYA). Atlast the orange- yellow gradient theme colour represents the Hindu-vedic nationalistic spirit and the ' BHAGWA' saffron  colour which depicts hindu religious nationalistic spirit.
